iPod Touch?

I've been thinking about getting an iPod Touch for my bday, but I'm not sure... My first option was to get a PSP xD But a lot of my friends said that it sucks, so , I was like "well, I might get an iPhone then..." That's when someone told me that I have to get a contract with At&t and... hell no I don't want that haha, I like t-mobile and besides... I bought a $200 cellphone a couple of months ago anyways...
So then someone suggested to get an iPod Touch, I did some research and it looks great, it is pretty much like an iPhone... the only thing is that it is obviously not a phone.
I am still uncertain about this, I don't know what other things I could want for my bday, there's honestly nothing I really want. :P

SerenityRO days

So yeah, I just want to keep updating my blog.
Well, I've been enjoying SeRO a heck lot! But what makes it even better is my two newest friends Brian(also know as Satsujinki, Cupcakes and Fayth) and Affinity(also known as Aile and Alia). Brian is like, the nicest dude out there haha, and he knows how to behave... most of the time. Also, he has like a bunch of lvl 99 characters(like 5 or 6? idk)... he's one hardcore Asian.
And Aff(Affinity) is funny :P she makes me go "lol", she has a couple of lvl 99 characters too.
I can't really concentrate in leveling sometimes cause I spent my time just sitting in Prontera and chatting for the laughs, but oh well, im lvl 89... lvl 99 is still a bunch of GRINDAN away tho.

Btw, my main character is called "Gackt" (the other one Houjou), lvl 89 Soul Linker :D

SerenityRO Review

Amazing server. Click on the picture for higher quality. Okay, so this server is very very stable, I didn't experience any lag at all and not a single downtime, other servers have downtimes every ten minutes, literally, which makes it a pain in the ass. The community is GREAT and amazingly friendly, from the minute I started playing I was flooded by greetings and people giving me freebies to be able to start off in the server. A lot of higher level players were very eager to help me and kept telling me to let them know if I needed help with anything. I was incredibly speechless because of their hospitality. Another thing is that there's a LOT of quests to do, meaning that you will always have something new to do after you reach lvl 99. And there's many customs and quest items that will keep you hunting for items! Something that is very important for most players is the availability of a GM, this server didn't let me down, the second I spawned in Prontera I was welcomed by GM Serenity (after also being welcomed by a bunch of players), and he told me to let him know if I had any questions or concerns. Most players claim that the WoE is intense in SerenityRO, and they also have a WoE for non-transcendental classes, so everyone gets to enjoy the intensity of WoE. Oh... but guess what! The fun is NOT OVER when you log-off the game! In SereintyRO forums(bulletinboards) there's a lot of interesting individuals eager to share good laughs with you! And there's a Market section if you want to buy or sell certain items. A gold nugget is definitely better than a river full of plain rocks, and in this case, SerenityRO proved to be gold. Thank you SerenityRO staff for your effort to develop such a great server, and thanks to the community :D

Update! The ROness

Okay, so, I played Ragnarok II for a little while a couple of days ago, sadly, the server that I was playing went down and it's been dead until now. I didn't play long enough to be able to write a good review about it, but let me tell you guys that I really liked it. There's barely any lag, the music is AMAZING... and in Korean, but still... beautiful music. Great graphics and the system is a little bit like the old RO, except that you buy your skills in RO2

I felt this huge urge to play RO, so I am going to be playing this server called SerenityRO and review it maybe.

I'll keep you updated!

Gran Torino by Clint Eastwood

Gran Torino was an excellent movie, probably my favorite one from last year, and this new year.
I laughed to the point where I almost peed my jeans.
I don't want to spoil it for everyone... so all I'm going to say is:

"Walt Kowalski
: Relax zipperhead. I'm not gonna shoot you. I look down to her, if I was you. You know, I knew you were a dipshit the first time I ever saw you. Then I thought you were worse with women than stealing cars, toad.
Thao Vang Lor: It's "Thao".
Walt Kowalski: What?
Thao Vang Lor: It's not "toad"! My name is "Thao"...
Walt Kowalski: Yeah well you are blowing it with that girl who was there. Not that I give two shits about a toad like you.
Thao Vang Lor: You don't know what you are talking about.
Walt Kowalski: You're wrong eggroll, I know exactly what I'm talking about. I may not be the most pleasant person to be around, but I got the best woman who was ever on this planet to marry me. I worked at it, it was the best thing ever happened to me. Hands down. But you, you know, you're letting Klit-Klat, Ding-Dong and Charlie Chan, just walk out with miss "what's her face". She likes you, you know? Though I don't know why!
Thao Vang Lor: who?
Walt Kowalski: Yum Yum. You know the girl in the purple sweater. She's been looking at you all day, stupid!
Thao Vang Lor: You mean Youa?
Walt Kowalski: Yeah... "Yum Yum"... yeah... nice girl... nice girl, very charming girl... I talked with her... yeah. But you, you just let her walk out right out with the 3 stooges. And you know why? 'cause you're a big fat pussy. Well, I gotta go. Good day pussycake."

You honestly need to go watch this movie, not just because of the fact that it is a great movie, but because Clint Eastwood said that it might be his last film.

Oh, and... "
Get me another beer, Dragon Lady!" :D

>>>>Here's a little scene from the movie<<<<

Luna Online Experience begins

So, my first real day in this game Luna Online is finally over, and I am happy to announce that it was a GREAT experience. First of all, the people from this Singapore server are extremely nice... great community. The leveling is made easy if you follow the quests that the NPC give you, which means... YUP! No "GRINDAN"!
The quest system is simply excellent, it makes you want to keep playing just to finish the darn quest and get your experience, gold, and items rewards, I didn't wanted to stop playing honestly!

I hunted solo from lvls 1~11, but then, as I was doing a quest this girl called CottonCloud invited me to her party, and 3 other players joined too. After a while of a hardcore massacre of Goblins, I reached level 14. It was fun leveling with the help of other people, and I ended up making some new in-game friends, which is pretty amazing since I usually go solo in MMORPGs.

So, after all that leveling I made 3 new friends: CottonCloud, Clairbear, and Tsukihami.

After getting level 14 from party leveling, I decided to catch up on my quests which helped me a lot... After a couple of hours I was able to reach lvl 16... I honestly wanted to stay and keep playing but I just had to update my blog :P

I will keep you updated about my Luna Online "adventures". And to close this post, here's a pic that my friend CottonCloud, and I took before leaving for the day. She's lvl 20 now :D grats to her~ (See the pictures in high resolution by clicking on them)

Trickster Online Review

I will be reviewing one of my favorite MMOs: Trickster Online
This game was developed by Ntreev, and was released a couple of years ago.
My favorite thing about this game is that they have a LOT of events and they give you rare items that will NOT be released ever again, I've been playing since it came out(I'm still level 72 Dragon tho) and I've been able to get a lot of limited edition items from events.

We have 4 classes in this game, Power Type, Magic Type, Sense Type and Charm Type. In addition, there's a male and a female character for each class type, they all represent an animal and they are all humans wearing a costume in order to be able to stay in Caballa Island.

The Bunny - Power Type - "She is an all-around athlete who has never lost in any kind of athletic competition. While she was getting bored with her usual excellence in ordinary sports, she was offered a chance to save the boxing club of her school. She soon sets her goal of obtaining the Junior Championship. While training, she sees the one and only boxing glove made of mammoth leather in an auction and comes to Caballa Island to earn money to buy her treasure."

The Buffalo - Power Type - "He is a professional fighter who would challenge and fight anybody. He unknowingly competes in an illegal fight and seriously injures his opponent in a win. But only finds out about it after he was cheated off his prize money by his manager. He comes to Caballa Island to make money to take care of his injured opponent and his family."

The Sheep - Magic Type - "As a librarian, she has deep knowledge on just about everything in the world. One day, she finds a book that isn't part of library collection. She realizes that the book is about ancient wizardry and learns the tricks of witchcraft. Shortly after, she learns of the news regarding Trickster and Caballa Island and sees it as an opportunity to raise money to build her own library, her life-long dream."

The Dragon - Magic type - "A descendant of both Romans and Asians, he was adopted by his rich parents when he was young. He studied medicine because of his parents wishes, but soon becomes fascinated with astrology and alchemy. One day, he receives a sign that predicts his return to his gypsy roots and it comes true. After a while, he becomes their leader but is faced with lack of food and other resources. While searching for answers, he gets another sign that shows Caballa Island and he heads off to find wealth for his people. "

The Fox - Sense Type - "She is an archeologist with sharp intuition, logics, and also a very rational person. She was the youngest person ever to earn a PhD in archeology and soon becomes famous for all her works and findings in her field. When she finds out about a new mysterious island that popped up in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, she wants to explore the island but is beaten by Don Cavalier. Her entrance to the competition is just an excuse to explore and study the island. "

The Lion - Sense Type - "He studied engineering in hopes of one day building a robot by himself. “World Robot Building Contest”, the world cup of robot building contest which is held every 4 years, is being hosted this year. But heneeds money to get all the materials necessary to compete. He comes to Caballa Island to raise fund for this competition."

The Cat - Charm Type - "A rising star model who has won a couple of beauty contests. She has been cast to play the leading role in an upcoming blockbuster “Cleopatra”. She comes to the island to make money to purchase ravish and expensive costumes for her movie."

The Racoon - Charm Type - "He comes to an all-girl’s school as a student teacher. He comes from a teacher’s family. His outstanding social skills and manners make him the most popular teacher in the school. When the news regarding the Caballa Island surfaces, 7 students from his school runs away at the same time. They are members of the seven-Princess Club, the most notorious gang in the school. Knowing that they are off to find the hidden treasure, he heads off to Caballa Island to bring the girls back home safely."

The game is newb friendly, and it will get you started with free potions, armor, a weapon and a pet after a short tutorial. They also have a feature called "drilling", which let's you drill for hidden treasures in certain maps, this is a great way to get rich without even having to be high level.

Also, if you form a party with certain set of players (ex. All of your teamates are Dragons, or they are all girls, or they are one of each class) the experience gained from monters is multiplied up to 2.5!

The items sold in "MyShop" (The item mall) are very helpful and make you feel like every cent you paid was WELL worth it, but don't worry, you will be all-right even if you don't buy item's from MyShop.

That was my review for this great game (I know, I didn't cover EVERYTHING, but those are the best points of the game). If you have any questions be sure to PM me or leave a comment, also, I am a Dragon level 72 in Jewelia server. (Looking for an unused Raccoon account)

Ragnarok II - Review TBA

Well, in my previous post I mentioned Ragnarok II(RO2) and I also said that I was going to review it. Sadly, after I installed the game and got to the log in screen... I realized that the server was down because it would not let me log in, so yeah, I won't be able to review the game until I find a stable private server OR until someone lets me use an official server account. I am honestly NOT expecting this game to be better than the original Ragnarok(RO), since RO is one of the best MMORPGs and it is still enjoyed by millions of people today. Also, instead of the 2D graphics that we had in RO, RO2 implemented 3D graphics pretty much like World of Warcraft's style. I am looking forward to see what Gravity was able to come up with after all these years.

My very first post on my very first blog

Yup. :P Let's see how long I can keep up with this. I just wanted to have a place to like, explain what goes on with my "exciting" life in this place that I call "The Internets". I think I'm mostly going to try to review some of the countless MMORPG that I try(and have tried over the years). I will also post things that I find funny or interesting, and I will try to share useful links to certain websites every now and then.

Okay, so, for the first post I would like to share a great web comics site that was introduced to me by my great friend Emily. The name of the site is MS Paint Adventures, and it has some "RPG" style comics where the users decide what happens next by submitting ideas to the author's blog.
I also started to play this game called Luna Online, this is the Singapore version which is also the first English version of the game. I also tried the Japanese version for a few minutes... It is pretty much the same but just, in Japanese.
The gam
e has 2 races and 3 classes and each class can be promoted to a higher rank class that adds more skills to your character. I also noticed that there's a family system that allows you to form a family of 5 members and buy a farm, as well as the usual Guild system.
Here is a great blog that helped me to get started: Luna Online Guide
The main site is still pretty much under construction and doesn't contain a lot of information about the game, but that guide explains most things... also, try going to the forums for more information.

And last but not least, a Japanese MMORPG that I started playing a few days ago called Chocotto Online the game and the website are completely in Japanese, so good knowledge about the language is a must. The game has very simple graphics and runs smoothly without any lag (unless your computer is a Windows 98). Definitely worth a try if you can get past the fact that it is COMPLETELY IN JAPANESE, they haven't released an English version yet.

I might be reviewing Ragnarok II tomorrow since I'm downloading it at the momment, so stay tuned :]
